The Dragon House Hotel

The Dragon House acquired its name from the crossroads, Dragons Cross, on which it is situated.

It was built in 1704 with what was believed to be the proceeds of a shipwreck off Blue Anchor Bay.

The Dragon House is ideally located for exploring the beautiful Somerset countryside.

We are just a couple of miles from the nearest beach at Blue Anchor and the medieval village of Dunster.

A bit further along the coast is the traditional seaside town of Minehead.

There are many wonderful walks and sights to see along the West Somerset coast and upon Exmoor, all of which is on the doorstep of The Dragon House.

After a busy day, what better way to relax than in our cosy lounge alongside a roaring fire or in the summer months on our balcony overlooking the cobblestoned courtyard and rolling green lawns.
